 AMS(Across-Mail Service) is a complete and integrated e-mail delivery solution that provides a secure, fast and authenticated outbound SMTP relay server, operating on some special ports. This is beneficial to anyone who needs to send hundreds or thousands of non-spam emails/newsletters a day to customers or subcribers but his ISP's SMTP server limites him to do this (ISP limites the email amount in a certain period) and port 25 is blocked by his ISP. AMS is also for anyone who simply does not wish to use their ISP's mail server, or for some reason cannot do so.
AMS provides a new method in email delivery, it is a new engine to solve most problems in your ISP. It can works with your favorite mail client program in Windows (any version), such as Outlook Express, Netscape, Eudura and The Bat, etc., or other any mail client which support SMTP standard in other operating system (such as Pocket PC, MAC, Linux, and so on, even your mobil phone that support SMTP protocol to send email), or our Mail Express Series products. For Mail Express Series, AMS is just a new delivery engine in their engine list, you only need to add AMS into the delivery engine list by click a button and fill in his account and password. Across-Mail Service can also solve other email delivery issues, for example, many webmail service providers don't provide a SMTP server to their users to send email with their favorite email client softwares, except send email at their web page, it is a slow and unstable way for the users to send email, so they can use Across-Mail Service as their SMTP server to send email out with their favorite email client softwares.

Bypass some problems of send emails through your ISP's SMTP server
AMS will help you send emails or newsletters bypass some problems of your ISP's SMTP server, such as port 25 block. AMS makes it possible to send email through other ports except port 25.

Optional SSL security connection support
When you send email with some mail client that support SSL security connection, such as Outlook Express, you can choose if it sends your email through AMS with SSL connection to protect your information or not. AMS supports both SSL version 2 and 3. The SMTP port that supports SSL security connection is 3325, to know how to set it in your mail client, see " How to use Across-Mail Service".

Support both "AUTH LOGIN" and "AUTH CRAM-MD5" authentication
CRAM-MD5 authentication will encrypt your account information when you send authentication information (Username and Password) to AMS server. Some email client softwares, such as Pegasus Mail, only support CRAM-MD5 authentication.

Support both Standard SMTP Authentication and FROM Address Authentication
The Standard SMTP Authentication is the Authentication Protocol for most email clients. But for some email clients, such as some email client softwares in mobil machine, or some email client softwares in old 16-bit Windows systems (i.e. Windows 3.1), don't support the SMTP Authentication and you can not fill your user/password in the settings, please choose FROM Address Authentication when you sign up your Across-Mail Service account and fill your email address in the FROM Address box, when you send email with this account, the AMS server will check if the FROM address of the email match the FROM Address you have filled in when you signed up the account. The FROM Address Authentication uses port 3225 as its SMTP port.

Find out bad email addresses in your address book
In the Control Panel of Across-Mail Service, you may visit the "Bad email address report" in the Tools tab. In this report, you may get all bad email addresses list in the emails that you have sent through Across-Mail Service, includes fail count, last email date and the reason. You may click the Simple List button to view the addresses list in simple format and save into a txt file, then update the address book of you mail client program. |

Easy to use
AMS works with Mail Express Series and your other favorite mail client programs, all you need to do is add "Across-Mail Service" into the delivery engine list by click the button in Mail Express Pro/Lite/Enterprise, or change the outgoing server(SMTP) setting of your favorite mail client program into the Across-Mail Service setting.
