 Mail Express Enterprise is a high-performance and high-customizable SMTP server for a group, company or organization. It works as system service with a new advanced delivery engine. You can add more than one port setting for the receive server of Mail Express Enterprise to bind, it means the receive server can listening at more ports, such as port 25, 2025, 2525, 10025, 30025, etc., it's helpful for you to build a full function SMTP server for your customers to bypass the port 25 block issue.
Users can use not only the DNS servers, delivery engines and rules in server, but also customize their own DNS servers, delivery engines, rules, and their own IPs. Of course, users can also manage their own emails at their own computer, such as resend, retry, correct error addresses, check the send logs, and so on. As a enterprise level SMTP server, there are complete secure safeguards in it, such as advanced IP filter, user authentication, etc. In Mail Express Enterprise, client users can also add their own IP list into their own account to protect account against other users.
Easy to control with the monitors inside
There are two usable tools that can help mail master and client users managing Mail Express Enterprise server, they are Mail Express Enterprise Control Monitor and Mail Express Enterprise Client Monitor.
- Administrator (mail master) manage the Mail Express Enterprise server with Mail Express Enterprise Control Monitor. In this manage tool, mail master can start or stop the three service - receive service, delivery service and message service, the message service is used for communication between server and control monitor or client monitor. Mail master also can view mail list and send logs in this control monitor, of course, he can resend, retry or delete email that have been sent or sent fail. All settings of Mail Express Enterprise server are be managed in this control monitor.
There is also an useful stat bar in Mail Express Enterprise Control Monitor for many users who use Mail Express Enterprise as their personal SMTP server, you can place it anywhere of your desktop and hide the main window, the stat bar will tell you the status of Mail Express Enterprise.
- Client users can manage their own emails that be sent out to Mail Express Enterprise server in Mail Express Enterprise Client Monitor. They can show mail list, send logs, and modify wrong email address in failed emails, or resend, retry, delete emails that have been sent out or sent fail. Client users also can customise their own DNS list, SMTP servers and rule list in client monitor if his account right allowed, all this customized list will be add follow the general list when he send emails. In order to protect their own account against other users, they can also add an IP filter in his account, this function is also in Mail Express Enterprise Client Monitor.
Signature support
Mail Express Enterprise supports multi-signature define and Macromedia FLASH animation in signature, you can specify different signature to different users/accounts. For company users, it is very useful to add an advertisement into the signature. Mail Express Enterprise also support convert plain/text email into HTML email, in order to insert the HTML signature with image or FALSH. There is a very useful tool " Signature Creator for Mail Express Series" for you to define your signature easy, it is a freeware.
Complete security support to protect your message
- Mail Express Enterprise supports SSL security connection to protect your email. If you added other email service, such as your ISP's or company's SMTP servers (e.g. the SMTP server of Google Mail/GMail), or the SMTP server of our Across-Mail Service, etc., into the Delivery Engine List of Mail Express Enterprise, and the SMTP servers support SSL security, when you send email to these servers in Mail Express Enterprise, you can turn on the SSL setting, then your email and all transferring data, include your username and password, will be encrypted.
- Mail Express Enterprise supports different authentication protocols, such as AUTH LOGIN, AUTH PLAIN and AUTH CRAM-MD5. The CRAM-MD5 authentication will encrypt your password information with MD5 encrpytion arithmetic, it will protect your account information effectively.
